Make adaptation happen.

We are building Resilens because the adaptation gap isn't a science gap or a funding gap. It's a decision gap. The tools to close it didn't exist, so we built them.

OUR STORY

We started with a question no one had answered.

Climate adaptation science has never been better. The data exists. The projections are detailed. The hazard models are sophisticated. And yet cities, portfolio owners, and facility operators still struggle to translate that science into funded, defensible plans.

The problem isn't the science. It's the translation layer. There’s no standard method for comparing a green roof against external shading or improved ventilation. No agreed metric that a grant committee and an asset manager can both understand. No tool that takes you from a site list to a submission-ready investment plan without a twelve-month consulting cycle.

Resilens was founded to build that translation layer. We started with two questions adaptation teams face every day: which risks require action first, and which measures create the strongest case for funding? AdaptationReturn is our answer.

Today, Resilens is focused on extreme heat adaptation and works with public and private pilot partners to turn site-level climate risk into prioritised, fundable action plans. We are a small team with deep roots in climate risk modelling, adaptation economics, and public sector decision-making. We intend to stay focused on the problem until it is solved.

"Risk becomes visible. Choices become comparable. Action becomes fundable."

Meet the people building Resilens.
